Holden Taylor || 18 || Junior || FC: Nathaniel Buzolic

Unlike the character from which he gets his name, Holden is extremely charming, and entitled. The son of a famous author, he’s extremely intelligent, but he has a wild side, a very prominent wild side. With his IQ, it was no wonder that he was accepted into Preston almost immediately, but he loves to push boundaries. With a spoiled, bad boy mentality, Holden is always getting himself into some kind of trouble, and constantly finds himself in situations that his parents have to pay his way out of.
Holden thinks that the majority of his classmates are idiots; he sees athletics as being a waste of time. During lacrosse games and regattas, when his classmates are all gathered on the field or at the river, you can most certainly find him walking the campus smoking or in his room with a bottle of scotch.
From the way he carries himself, you wouldn’t think he’s 18, more like 26. With good looks and his classic smirk, he certainly has no trouble attracting ladies, especially ones that crave the attention from a ‘bad boy’, but it takes a special kind of person to catch his eye. While he certainly finds his female classmates attractive, he has yet to meet one that actually intrigues him. He thinks the majority of the female population at Preston are all materialistic and too into themselves, even if he’s the epitome of self-centeredness.

Peter Hayes || 17 || Junior || On Scholarship || Prestonian Society Member || FC: Andrew Garfield

Not many bad things can be said about Peter Hayes. Perhaps the most neutral guy at Preston, he manages to navigate life without stepping on anyone’s toes or ruffling anyone’s feathers. A hard worker who comes from a single parent home, his mother worked two jobs sending him to a private middle school. Not wanting to let his mother’s hard work go to waste, he applied to Preston, and was ecstatic when he was offered a full ride scholarship.
It didn’t take long for Peter to quickly become one of the most well liked boys at Preston. Earnest and genuine, he has a sweet wit that melts even the coldest hearts. This was never more apparent than when he was able to catch the eye of Preston’s resident bitch, Danielle Reynolds. While most saw a bitchy and self-centered girl, Peter saw someone who was ambitious, someone who was simply misunderstood, and he took care to find out more about her. It was Peter’s best friend, Jacob, who finally pushed the two together, telling Peter to man up and ask her out, and ever since the two have been inseparable.
With his stellar academic record and involvement in varsity crew, it came as no surprise to anyone that Peter won the Prestonian in his sophomore year. At the awards ceremony, he watched as his mother cried tears of pride as he was given the plaque, and he knew that all of her hard work, and her sacrifice was worth it.

Tucker Price || 15 || Freshman || FC: Dave Franco

From the minute Tucker stepped onto Preston’s campus, it became clear that he was to become the school’s resident goofball. Always armed with a joke and a smile, he quickly became one of the upperclassmen’s favorite freshman. He’s as quick-witted as they come, and is especially good at coming up with insults when he heckles his opponents on the lacrosse field.
Tucker’s father is the famous host of a nighttime talk show, and his mother is a television actress known for her work on a successful crime drama, and because of his parents’ fame, Tucker has grown accustomed to being in the spotlight. He’s always trying to crack a joke to be in the center of attention, and is afraid of drifting into obscurity.
His goofy personality and fun-loving attitude have made it so that he has no shortage of friends, however, he doesn’t exactly fit the bill that Preston’s girls have when it comes to boyfriends, and that frustrates him. He’s had a thing for Maggie Garfield since seeing her at orientation on the very first day of Freshman year, but they both know that she’s out of his league. While the two are friends, she tends to gravitate more towards the bad boys, and he’s anything but.

Alexander ‘Alex’ McCann || 15 || Freshman || FC: Logan Lerman

The quieter of the McCann twins, Alex has always been content living in his sister’s shadow. From the moment the two were born, Sara has made it clear that she is the dominant of the two, and Alex, a naturally peaceful person, knows to let her get her way. An avid reader, Alex prefers the company of his books to the company of others, and is an introvert. When it comes to girls, Alex is clueless. He’s handsome, but shy, however, in a painfully endearing way. He’s very modest when it comes to his looks, a stark contrast to his twin who always seems to flaunt hers. While Sara and Alex get along, it is only because he’s too passive to let half of the things she does get to him.
At the urging of his parents, Alex joined the crew team, and has since become more outgoing, even venturing outside his dorm walls and attending a party every once in a while. It took a while for his teammates to warm up to him, most of them originally put off by his quiet nature, but over time they learned to love him. His teammates and new found friends are constantly trying to pull him out of his shell, whether it’s making him talk to a girl at a party, or set him up on dates, and they’ve managed to help him build up some confidence, and Alex is slowly coming out of his shell.
Alex is extremely gifted in English and History, and fancies himself a history buff. He always either has his nose in a book, or can be found watching a film. While he usually isn’t a big talker, get him talking about films or books and you won’t be able to shut him up.

Jacob ‘Jake’ Pierce || 17 || Prestonian Society || Senior || FC: Robert Pattinson

Jacob’s life has included worrying about his mother, and school. Up until he was fourteen he had spent every moment worrying about she and her dating habits—his parents having divorced when he was a child; but at the age of fourteen, she payed for him to go to Preston Academy, to get him out of her hair, she had never been one for children anyway, and paying a several thousand dollars for him to go to a boarding school would mean she had free reign to do whatever she pleased. And after sending him away, she virtually disappeared from the radar after paying off his school fees.
Upon entering Jacob Pierce’s lighter side emerged, he finally began to enjoy the funnier part of things, and came to realize aside from being relatively smart, he was actually funny, and enjoyed reading. He even got made some new friends at his school, being a pretty liked guy, and ended up winning the honor of joining Prestonian Society with his excellent GPA his sophomore year, in hopes that it would get him into a good college and he could move from the small town he had lived in his whole life.
When it comes to girls, Jake never found himself wasting his time on one after watching what happened with his own mother, not wanting to be the cruel guy in the relationship—he was too nice, but when he met Dani Reynolds he enjoyed how snarky she was, but before he had the chance to act on his feelings, his best friend Peter Hayes began dating her. Now they’re close friends, but he secretly wishes for more.

Ellis Watson || 16 || Sophomore || FC: Alex Pettyfer

If Max Levy is the light of Preston, Ellis would be the dark, his total opposite. Ellis isn’t the sort of guy you would picture being at Preston. He is a huge slacker leaving everything to the last minute, and spent most of his middle school days going in and out of the principal’s office, always in some sort of trouble. However, he is an excellent test taker, even if he would never admit it, and can absorb loads of information in one sitting. He doesn’t even want to go to Preston anymore, having become bored with the students, no one really catching his attention. He’s always the guy you want to ask to go out, if you want to go out during the week, since he always knows what’s going on and with who. He is very sociable, although his friends may not be the best sort, he fell in with Bentley Sumpter, a boy who never attended class, and only got to stay at Preston because his father was on the admissions board, and preferred him in Preston failing as opposed to being out and causing trouble.
When it comes to girls, Ellis isn’t too picky, he’ll hook up with random ones, but no one has really stolen his heart—-not that he would let him. He thinks romance is completely beneath him, it’s a waste of time, especially being in high school, what would be the point of getting in a relationship when most marriages end in divorce nowadays anyway? Let alone one that begins in high school. Ellis’ relationships consist of—partying, and his friends. And don’t think you’re going to change him.

Matthew ‘Matty’ Bothman || 18 || Senior || Prestonian Society Member || FC: Zach Roerig

There are two things that Matty loves more than anything in the world: lacrosse and girls. Lucky for him, he succeeds in both those things. He has been playing lacrosse since he was a young boy, and it’s all he thinks about. Ascending to the rank of team captain at the young age of 16, Matty has led Preston to countless consecutive victories, and two national championships.
Matty’s status as lacrosse superstar has given him a stuck-up attitude. He’s handsome, and he’s very much aware of his looks, using them to manipulate girls. While he’s known as the resident heartbreaker of Preston, he still has feelings for his ex-girlfriend, Kate Carlisle. Kate broke Matty’s heart in his Sophomore year, and while he’s dated several girls since, he’s never been able to shake her from his head. The two have a love/hate relationship and find each other frustrating, yet they can never seem to stop talking to each other for too long.
Matty was awarded the Prestonian in his Sophomore year, shortly after winning Preston the national title in lacrosse. His parents, both Preston alums, were extremely proud of him as he had won the award neither of them had been lucky enough to win. His athleticism and status have helped him secure a spot at the University of Pennsylvania after graduation.

Maxwell ‘Max’ Levy || 17 || Junior || FC: Chace Crawford

Max is the epitome of a spoiled, rich boy. A Boston native, and the son of a famous attorney and an heiress, he’s one of the wealthiest boys at Preston. Handsome, with a genius IQ, he’s also the star member of Preston’s crew team. He’s cocky, entitled, and girls are constantly throwing themselves at him. While he’s a straight A student, he’s also the resident drug dealer for most of Preston’s campus. If you want it, he’ll have it, and he’ll gladly sell it to you - for a very high price.
Along with his roommates, Tyler and Scotty, Max runs a drug ring that involves some of the school’s wealthiest boys. While Max and his friends are usually the snobbiest boys in school, they found that they were unable to deny Tyler’s easy-going nature, and they welcomed him into their friend group with open arms, even letting him keep the majority of the proceeds of their drug ring.
Max is the older brother of Molly Levy, a sophomore, and he’s actually a huge sweetheart when it comes to her. He’s a protective older brother, and he finds himself constantly butting heads with his best friend, Scotty Goldner, who recently began dating his younger sister. While Max isn’t one for relationships, he’s had his eye on a fellow junior, Lily Mason. Lily knows Max, or rather, knows of Max, but the two aren’t close.

Scott ‘Scotty’ Goldner || 17 || Junior || FC: Beau Mirchoff

Being an all-star lacrosse player and the son of a CEO, you would think that Scotty would be the biggest douche bag on Preston’s campus. However, you couldn’t be more wrong. He works hard at his sport, and is a natural leader who is well-liked by most of the campus. He’s a social guy, always the first to know about parties, and is a genuinely good person. He’s definitely the nicest of his roommates and best friends, Max and Tyler.
While Scotty was never one to settle down, he met his match in Molly Levy. The two shared a class together during the first semester, and he found himself quite taken with the feisty girl. The only catch? She’s his best friend’s younger sister. The two eventually went public, and it’s caused some tension between him and Max.
He’s not the smartest of his friends, but he works hard. He’s close with his father, and hopes to one day follow the footsteps of his father and become the CEO of his company, and he knows that a position like that requires dedication and a good work ethic. He’s very committed to school and his lacrosse team, and is hoping to be named captain for his senior season.
